When I got to meet Vince Huizenga I was on the road to Indianapolis with my red car. Not that I like driving so long ways (I’m from New York) but I needed to get there in a few days. I’m not scared about long distances and so I jumped into my car and started my way. But once there, I had to ask for an indianapolis rekey a lock since the key of my car had a problem to fix.
I was new in Indianapolis and I had never had any problems with car locked so I hardly could find myself a way to get out of that matter. But by luck, I got to meet a guy on the road and he was Vince. He was walking on the road edge trying to get a drive to Indianapolis. I stopped and asked “where to?”, he replied “wherever is fine”. Weird kind of a reply, I thought but he looked a normal guy and moreover he was even gay like me.
So I guessed it was a luck to have him in to my car and I offered him to jump on board and join me and my other 2 gay friends (who were waiting for me to come) for the party we were going to go that night. “Oh, yeah! I’m coming at once!” he was so happy. When I had that problem with the key of my car, Vince was there standing by me and he helped me a lot because he called the car locking company and we got the problem fixed out. Vince fully deserved our party that night and since the very first moment that I introduced him to my friends, we all went along pretty well for the whole night.

Because going on like this I will get as stupid as my ex sugardog and possibly she will like me more and come back to me”. He explained. I saw that he was completely crazy and so I said goodbye and I came back home. Such people are really crazy in my opinion and they can’t go on so they stay there thinking and rethinking about what is lost: such people are therefore complete losers.

“Penguin Arena: Sedna’s World” is a very old game belonging to the indie market. I think it was released in 1999, but today it is available on Steam in the Action Indie Pack for only € 14,99 (with Space Trader, RIP trilogy, Merchant Marine, rummy bonus , Larva Mortus and Tank Universal). I think it should be classified as first person shooter, even though the protagonists are not who you would expect: penguins, violent and merciless penguins. Who doesn’t like penguins?
But “Penguin Arena: Sedna’s World” presents you penguins warriors that are able to fight for their life and their tribe! There is even a sort of plot to justify that ruthless and frantic carnage that take place in the arena. The story begins when a goddess comes on our planet; her name is Sedna and she’s worried about the global pollution and the global warming that cause the melting ices. Anyway, she can save some penguins but only the victorious tribe, only one. That’s how the fight begins and you’ll join the battle as a bloodthirsty penguin in a colored suit.
“Penguin Arena: Sedna’s World” doesn’t contain any mini game or money online casino games: it is a real shooter, Quake style, believe it or not. You have the chance to choose among several weapons, to get 5 different bonuses. There are also 15 maps and 4 different game modes available, and you can play both in LAN and in internet multiplayer, even though I guess there won’t be many people playing it online at the moment. I don’t know many rhythm games for iPad, but when I found Pulse, it really fascinated me. Developed by Cipher Prime only for iPad, this game is not a cheap one: you need to pay $5 to have it; if you are a rhythm game addicted, you won’t regret that money… and if you never tried a game like this before, believe me, you will love it anyway, because Pulse is absolutely wonderful! I’ve always been reluctant to play rhythm games: I have been playing drums since I was 17.

I think Pulse developers did a great job, because the graphic design is sober, doesn’t distract you but, at the same time, it is amazing and beautiful to see. Most importantly, the tracks are great! Honestly, I don’t love them all, but most of them are a pleasure for my ears and they’re not easy to “play”. I like the challenge and the music, so this is the game perfect for me.

We all have our heroes, right? Among the games available on xbox live indie game, “They Breathe” is for sure one of the most disturbing. And it’s odd, because the main character of this game is a cute, little frog. The problem (for me, of course) is the environment in which this poor creatures lives. Like you can clearly see from the trailer here http://www.garagedoors-sacramento.com/, the underwater world in which the frog swims seems to be very creepy. Our little green hero will be forced to face many horrible creatures and being repeatedly killed by underwater cow is not reassuring at all.
How did I bump into this game? Not certainly watching the trailer. One of my old friends, a Locksmiths miami guy, told me about this incredible game, a real revelation among the indie world. Actually, he was right, because this game has a lot of potential: ok, I don’t like its unsettling, frightening and creepy features, but I guess many people out there might like it. The only downside is that “They Breathe” doesn’t even have a real story to back it up.
I know this is a puzzle game, but it is really a shame having this great atmosphere and waste it. Why didn’t they develop a real story? Why they bet everything on the puzzle game? Also, the game design is interesting: your frog will have to swim fast (and you need good reflexes) to escape from those monsters. Anyway, one level after another, this mechanics might be quite boring. I think They Breathe developers failed to realize what was the real strength of this game, however they did a good job because if you’re not a screaming girl like me, you will probably enjoy this title.

I didn’t want to play Q.U.B.E. because I’ve already played Portal and Portal 2 many times. What’s the point of playing a game which clearly tried to copy portal? I was so wrong!! My boyfriend kept telling me to try it out and my online friends (orlando locksmith and a Spanish guy) told me the same! So, I gave it a chance. At the first sight, it really looks like portal. You wake up in this white room, with white cubes and soon you realize that your gloves can interact with the elements of the surroundings.
You can move cubes to open a passage through the wall, you can open a garage doors houston and you can even turn the lights on! You can do pretty anything and the more you use your gloves, the more you get skilled. As soon as you improve, the background music starts, guiding you in your journey from that moment till everything ends. I don’t want to spoiler, anyway there are many puzzles to solve… some of them are similar to portal puzzles, but Q.U.B.E. atmosphere is completely different.
Also, your powers are different: you can really interact with that weird and unnatural world. Once you discover how to get the cubes colored, you will gain new skills and puzzle solutions won’t be predictable anymore. You’ll find out there isn’t a unique solution… so you can even play the game again! I really enjoyed this game, but a co-op mode would have spiced everything up!

We all know to play at least one cards game. It is a very relaxing activity that both entertains us and keeps our brain working. More than that even if you chose to play them home, among friends, even if you chose to play casino games for real money (personally I usually chose to play casino for cash ) cards games always bring people together. But have you ever wondered what the origins of cards games are? Well, cards games were organized in Asia even before the 10-th century.
First cards were actually some drawn pieces of paper, like today`s domino game, with little circles, meaning different possible combinations of thrown dices. Paper was also used for domino, which existed even then. They were not using yet wood or ivory to create the game pieces. Cards came into Europe in 1350.That was the time when the signs painted on the cards were modified in cup (not the one we know today, but the drinking cup), coin sward and stick. Europeans were the ones who also introduced the royal cards, inspired by their own lives at the royal courts.
First cards games appeared in 1370, in many European countries like Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Unfortunately, there are no decks kept from that period. The oldest cards that were kept are from the 15-th century, in private exhibitions. In the 14-th century many many cards started to be produced, thanks to the new procedures of cutting wood. The cards were made by wood. The Germans seem to be very creatives in painting cards, using scenes inspired by nature or even caricatures. The German standards decided other names for the cards : red heart, leaf, acorn and bell.

Four years after the huge flop of D&d 4th edition, Wizard of the Coast has announced that they are working on a new edition of Dungeons&Dragons. I’m really excited about it: I’ve been playing d&d 3.5 for 10 years now, because my friends and I never liked the 4th edition, but we’re getting quite tired about it. Everything WotC disclosed about the so-called “D&d Next” seems really interesting so far. It looks like they will try to create a flexible set of rules that can easily adapt to any existing content.
It is really a great news, because it means I don’t have to throw away all my old handbooks, like the complete scoundrel, masters of the wild, garagedoors austin , psionics handbook, complete adventurer and champion and so on!!!Also, they want to focus more on the rpg experience, because 4th edition was all about mechanics and people didn’t like that.While I was playing 3.5 edition, one of my characters worked as locksmith before starting his epic journey; in order to make him more real, I searched for some info about this profession in websites like http://locksmithinjacksonville.com/ and I learned many things to feel my character more “alive”.
I really hope this “D&d Next” will inspire players to deepen the role playing experience like the 3.5 edition did, because when I played 4th edition fighting was all I cared about… but it turned out to be very boring after 2 or 3 weeks! The most exciting news is that they’re working on a customizable game, allowing dungeon masters to build their own ruleset: it isn’t a real innovation, because the most experienced DM already changed some rules to make the game smoother. Anyway, D&d Next really looks promising and I can’t wait to know more about it!
